Massage Therapy
Massage Therapists are highly sought after for their in depth knowledge to help with muscle and joint pain and physical and mental relaxation and rehabilitation. Using multiple techniques such as deep tissue, relaxation, trigger point, therapeutic, lymphatic, cross fiber friction, myofascial cupping, and stretching, they can take your body from the state of pain and stress, to a deep state of relaxation and recuperation.
Like Acupuncture, Massage Therapy has been around for about 5,000 years. Originating in India it was traditionally used to relieve pain, calm the nervous system so that the body can heal, restore balance to the body and mind, and boost the immune system. It traveled around the world over these 5,000 millenia and each country that adopted it into their practices adapted it to their own particular beliefs and healing systems.
Massage Therapists are highly trained in the anatomy (structure) and physiology (function) of the body and have been trained to help combat conditions such as:
-
Poor Circulation
-
