Maggie Chow, RMT

She/Her/Hers

Maggie has always been passionate in helping people move and live better. Before studying massage therapy at Mount Royal University, she spent 5 years working as a personal trainer. This experience helped her develop a strong interest and understanding of how the body moves, and how pain can affect the way we live and function.

Maggie believes that meaningful therapeutic work starts with relaxation. She aims to relax the nervous system so that the body is better able to respond to treatment and create meaningful change. Her treatments  incorporate work with the fascial system, and she views the body as an interconnected system, looking beyond where the client feels discomfort to how other areas may be contributing to their symptoms.

Each treatment is tailored to the individual, with the intention of supporting each client in reaching their goals, whether that means reducing pain and tension, moving with greater ease or feeling better in their body.

In her spare time Maggie enjoys spending time with her friends, family and two cats, reading, taking care of her plants, baking and making soup!

Maggie has a special interest in treating:

  • Chronic pain conditions

  • Hypermobility

  • Neck tension and headaches

  • Back pain

  • Abdominal dysfunction
