Jaime Werenka, PT
She/Her/Hers
Jaime is a graduate from the University of Alberta’s Masters of Physiotherapy program.
Originally from northern Alberta, and residing in Edmonton following her Masters degree, she moved to Calgary in 2022 with her family. Jaime has taken additional education in manual therapy, shoulder dysfunction, dry needling/IMS, and women’s pelvic health.
Jaime has worked with patients of all ages and varying injuries from acute ankle pain to chronic back pain and beyond. Her work in pelvic health has primarily been treating women perinatally.
Jaime’s treatment philosophy is to provide her patients with the tools to improve and manage their symptoms but also help patients feel better during a session with her manual therapy and/or needling skills.
When Jaime is not at work you can generally find her spending time with her family (two kids and husband), walking her dogs (two Shiba Inu’s), travelling, listening to audiobooks, and practicing yoga or exercising.
Jaime loves incorporating the following modalities into her treatments:
-
Neck and shoulder issues
